Storm windows installed along the coast of Texas must protect your home and family against the dangers of flying debris and strong winds during violent weather conditions. These Gulf Coast windows are found on homes directly adjacent to the gulf, to as far inland as 300 miles.

Storm windows from AWP, however, are not only hurricane resistant, but also burglar resistant and UL 972 tested for anti-intrusion applications as well. Protection performance levels of laminated glass are usually determined according to this UNDERWRITERS LABORATORY test UL 972. This test measures the resistance of glass by dropping a 5 lb. (2.27 kg) steel ball onto the glass from a specified height.
